Been going here for years. Quality either went down or is inconsistent. I went with my father who ordered the #19 special pho (ingredient mix), while I got the rare steak and beef balls pho. Same price for both. I was expecting more meat since there'd be less ingredients than #19 - same price, too, right? I only got 2 sad little beef balls. 2. My dad had 3, and again he ordered the special, for the same price. I remember getting much more in the past for the same bowl. Another time I went with my boyfriend to get pho and my soup was much more watered down than his, which he didn't believe me on till he tried mine.
When their food is consistent it's standard Vietamese cuisine, which is why I've put this at 3 stars instead of 2. Though the area is spoiled for choice on restaurants, I still go here because there's nothing like eating hot pho on a rainy day. But yeah be warned, because when their food is inconsistent it's a disappointment. -

I ordered extra large pho : the bowl is extra Large but inside the bowl of rice noodle and beef were medium size or less , only the soup was full size. Damn, they made me like they are scammer. Paid extra large but only got medium size pho. I am not going there again. My friendS said the same thing !!!!! Try another pho on Kingsway.

Haven't been here in about 10 years. It's your neighbourhood dive. The restaurant is in need of a renovation. The food is acceptable. I had a well done flank and beef ball pho and it was fine . Ordered a small and the size was enough. There aren't a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in the area so they are pretty busy.

Easily the driest, least appetizing banh mi I've ever had. Honestly probably the only one I've not enjoyed. No daikon or jalapeno, no butter on the already sad bun, and very little filling (one cucumber spear and the weakest smear of pate). I went here because it was the only thing open in the area and that's really the only situation in which I would recommend going. Service was disinterested at best.
Disclaimer: I've only tried one dish. Generally I wait until I've gone somewhere a few times before leaving a review but this was bad enough I feel alright assessing based on my one sandwich. -

I was surprised at the rating of this restaurant after dining here because my family and I thought the food was PHENOMENAL! From the looks of it, it seemed more like a customer service issue although we had no trouble whatsoever. The service was quick and the food came out in a timely manner. But the reason why I'm raving about this restaurant is because their flavors are so rich! The pho broth was so delicious that it didn't even need any hoisin sauce or sriracha and for those that are regular pho eaters know that is an essential to enhance the flavor of the broth. Definitely the best pho broth I have ever tasted anywhere. Their soups, in all, were very rich in flavor to the point we were even able to finish the broth!
